Celtek Bioscience is a biotechnology company focusing on R & D of cell-based technologies and products leading to the development of novel therapeutic drugs and preventive medicines. It specializes in development of novel agents that facilitate intracellular delivery of target compositions.
Our peptide-based, preclinical drug products are characterized by their ability to penetrate cell membranes, which distinguishes them from other available biomedical peptides that are usually cell impermeable. Because of this unique transport activity, our products are expected to be more valuable in applications to cell-related disease control and prevention. They can also be useful for biomedical research and diagnosis aimed at intracellular targets. Our goals are to provide peptide-based, preclinical drug compounds and to develop new cellular delivery technologies useful for drug discovery and development.

Employment Opportunities (updated in June, 2006):
1) Research Assistant/Associate position available immediately. Candidates should have a good background and lab experience in cell biology. Expertise in signal transduction pathways is of particular interest.
2) A Peptide Chemist. Candidates must have a solid background and experience in peptide synthesis and purification.
